According to Peter Dwyer, publisher, the first titles for the new imprint will be drawn from the pages of Give Us This Day, as is the case with Blessed Among Us. Thereafter the imprint will move on to introduce new work by writers associated with the periodical. “Many wise and inspiring people contribute to Give Us This Day,” Dwyer said, “including established authors as well as new voices who deserve a wider audience for book-length spiritual reflection.”

Ellsberg’s Blessed Among Us, exemplifies essential characteristics of the Give Us This Day imprint – engaging, accessible and inspiring stories, beautifully printed and bound, at an affordable price. Imprint plans call for two books per year initially.

Liturgical Press has been publishing books and periodicals for a Catholic and ecumenical readership for 90 years. Its other imprints include Liturgical Press Books, Michael Glazier, Pueblo Books, Cistercian Publications, and The Saint John’s Bible. The publishing house is owned by Saint John’s Abbey, a Benedictine monastery in Collegeville, Minnesota.
